Code of Conduct
We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and actively promote accessibility and inclusion at UKCC. We value the participation of each individual and want all participants to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.

UKCC intends to be a safe space designed to encourage the sharing of professional knowledge and ideas. We take our delegates’ safety seriously and support delegates of all backgrounds, needs and interests to feel safe and get fully involved in the conference. If you have any special needs please contact us.

All communication and behaviour at UKCC should therefore be respectful and appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Offensive or discriminatory language, imagery and behaviour will not be tolerated. Delegates violating these rules may be asked to leave the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Payment
Full payment for your booking must be received prior to the event in order to secure your space at the conference. Registration and payment must be made in GBP Sterling by credit/debit card (Visa and Mastercard only) using our webshop. If you wish to discuss an alternative method of payment please contact us. The registration form constitutes a legally binding contract and by confirming you are obliged to make payment for all fees as applicable by your registration.

Cancellation by you
Cancellations must be received in writing via the contact form and are subject to the following:

If received on or before 13th December 2026: full refund less £25 administration fee.

If received on or after 14th December 2026: 50% refund.

If received on or after 21st December 2026: no refund.

Delegate substitutions can be made at any time at no additional charge by contacting us.

No refunds will be made for delegates not attending the conference or for missed bookings for any reason, including delayed or cancelled transport to the event. Delegates are strongly advised to arrange their own insurance to cover the cost of their place should they be unable to attend and fall outside the refund periods set out above.

Changes and cancellation by us
It is possible that we may have to make changes to UKCC. These will usually be minor, such as alteration of the advertised programme (including speakers, rooms and timings), and will not have any material effect on your conference experience.

In case of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) requiring cancellation of UKCC we will refund in full all registration fees, but hereby disclaim any further liability. Without limitation, we will not be responsible for the cost of transport or other arrangements made in connection with attending the conference.
